What We Do Not Take On
We don't quote a job blind, and we don't quote jobs outside what we actually do. We work on residential garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, rollers, and cables, the mechanical stuff that moves the door up and down. We don't do commercial rolling steel doors, and we don't do fabrication or custom door builds from scratch.
We also won't give you a firm price over the phone for anything beyond a simple part swap like a remote or a keypad. A torsion spring job, a bent track, or an opener that's grinding but not dead all need eyes on the actual door before a number means anything. Two doors that look the same from the driveway can have completely different hardware underneath, especially with the mix of builds you get across a service area where most homes went up between 1982 and 2015. A phone quote on a spring job is a guess dressed up as a price, and we'd rather tell you that upfront than call you back with a different number once the truck is on-site.

What We Are Called Out For
Most of what we see traces back to the era a home was built in. A large share of the housing here dates to the early 2000s, and that generation of doors is now old enough that torsion springs, nylon rollers, and the first-generation belt or chain openers that shipped with them are wearing out at close to the same time across whole streets. Broken spring on a double door, opener that runs but won't lift, cable that's frayed or jumped the drum, those are the calls.
